Please click on this link for the Travelling Itinerary. Laico Atlantic Hotel A hotel set in spacious garden, with a tropical feel. The hotel is situated in the capital of Banjul, a colourful, bustling city that is full of life. Relax by the deliciously inviting pool, on the sun terrace, or take a break on the small sandy beach. Animated evenings, with a varied entertainment programme including African folklore show, disco evenings and fashion shows, are held on the tropical patio. The rooms are comfortably furnished and most overlook the gardens or pool area. Location: On a sandy beach about 1km North from the centre of the Banjul. Transfer time: 50 minutes. Key Features: Beach front location, landscaped tropical gardens, freshwater swimming pool with terrace and snack bar, children’s pool, 3 further bars, restaurants, a la carte restaurant, all with non-smoking sections, half board meals will be taken in the Banjaba restaurant, weekly barbecue, satellite TV room, shop, resident ornithologist and room service. 204 Bedrooms. Prices are per person for 2 adults sharing a room with twin beds, bath and balcony on a half board basis; single rooms and air conditioning are also available. Sports and Leisure: Beach and pool game, water sports, volleyball, table tennis, darts, (equipment available for hire) We are not acting as a travel agent. This hotel is where we will be staying and we always group booking. The estimated cost to travel for 14 nights is £700.00, which includes flight, hotel and half board. We will be asking everyone that would like to travel for a donation to help with the over all costing of the trip.
Before you are allowed to travel with us to Africa you would have to: - Be a long-term donator for at least 10 months.
- Be active in helping us to find donators, clothes and books.
- Take part in some of our activities throughout the year.
- Sign Hearts to Africa rules and guidelines.
- Membership fees £10 a month
