Nursery School Albreda
P O Box 2630
Serre Kunda
The Gambia
West Africa
Age from 4 to 10
The school is 2 large rooms with no running water etc.
The teachers work on a voluntary basis.
Pan Cool Nursery School is in the village of Serre Kunda but when they leave for
primary school they have to walk 4 to 6 miles each way every day. You’re never
too young to go to Pan Cool Nursery School.
Pan Cool Nursery School is within 2 minutes walk from a local tourist’s area
some 500 people visit each week yet they are unaware of this tiny school just
yards from them.
One of the tourists strayed from his group and spent 3 minutes with the
children, he returned 6 months later and built the nursery. His name is Mr Pan
Cool
The local band played music for us in a way of saying thank you for your gifts
to the children.
